Shaji Austin
Shaji Austin is a former Corporate Executive with significant Global Exposure. He has a functional expertise of over three decades in Business Operations, Management and Training. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration. With distinguished proficiency in strategic planning of business activities, he could contribute significantly in the accelerated growth and profitability of the organisations he had been associated with. A team leader with distinction to functionally equip teams to over achieve targets, he grew the career ladder to increasingly responsible positions including Director / General Manager positions with international firms during his stint abroad. An excellent communicator and team player, he brings with him a unique set of skills to help build relationships across and beyond the organisation. Shaji Austin is also associated with many professional and social organisation like All India Management Association (AIMA), Lions Clubs International, Toastmasters International, Engineers Forum etc.
Dr. Anoop K J
VISAT is fortunate to have a strong and dynamic individual leading us onto the path of success through his constant support and motivation. Our Principal Dr. Anoop K J is an expert academician, a PhD holder and has over 18 years of teaching experience.
He is a true visionary who is at the helm of establishing educational institutions and ensuring quality in them. He believes that education should be accessible and one that leads to learning outcomes rather than degrees.
He inspires the students with his drive towards excellence and is a role model for the faculty members to whom, he is a guiding presence. After having rendered his services to some of the top Institutes in Kerala and having donned multiple hats from Assistant Professor to Principal and Dean of Studies, he is a stellar addition to this growing bastion of knowledge.
In his own words, “The VISAT Engineering College”, since its inception, has been providing accessible education to engineering aspirants from all over the region and is an educational institution that has great potential for excellence. Though in a nascent stage of growth, VISAT has come a long way and is growing steadily with the support and accomplishments of its students, faculty members and the unwavering backing of the community. Our students are innovative and our faculty members are immensely talented.
Prof. P.S. Subin
The current Registrar of VISAT is Prof. P S Subin who has a cumulative experience of over 17 years as an academician. During his expansive career, he has worked with multiple different institutions across many different roles such as Professor, Vice Principal, Principal in Charge, Dean Academics and Dean Administration. He is an admirable teacher and highly skilled in administration.
Professor PS Subin is a seasoned professor with great experience in imparting excellent standards of education to UG as well as PG students in Computer Science and Engineering. He has vast experience in administration, training and campus recruitment activities. He is a passionate and dedicated teacher above all else and enjoys teaching students. His areas of expertise include C programming, Object Oriented Programming using C++ and Java, Operating Systems, Neural Networks, Computer Graphics, Multimedia Techniques, Software Project Management, Business Law, Information System Management, and Microprocessors and Microcontrollers.
Over the span of his career, he has received numerous accolades for exemplary performance in his teaching and administrative career and has led many students to produce outstanding performances in their University Examinations. He has delivered numerous lectures to a wide audience, on the theories and practices of Engineering. As a humble and dedicated professional, he has touched many lives and continues to do so in his capacity as our Registrar.
