1) VISAT Engineering College Signed an MoU with INTI International University Malaysia

On August 16, 2023, a landmark virtual MoU Signing Ceremony forged a powerful partnership between INTI International University and VISAT Engineering College. The event, conducted at 12:30 PM (Malaysia Time) and 10:00 AM (1ST), featured a well-structured agenda.

It commenced with a warm opening by an INTI MC, followed by a captivating video profiling both institutions and culminating in the official MoU signing, symbolizing a commitment to shared goals and growth. Noteworthy remarks were gathered from the Pro Vice Chancellor of INTI and the Principal of VISAT Engineering College, reflecting the significance of this collaboration. A memorable photo session captured the camaraderie that marked the occasion. Notable attendees included esteemed professors, regional heads, and key figures from both institutions. This partnership holds immense promise, fostering opportunities for academic excellence and innovation that will benefit both INTI and VISAT Engineering College. 2) Parvathy Anil Kumar of S2 CSE participated in the Second Round of ORMA International Speech Competition.

3) Research article from students of S2 ECE & S2 EEE got selected for the international conference on Innovation and Technopreneurship hosted by INTI International University Malaysia on 21st and 22nd September 2023.

4) Amalu Binoy, First year B. Com Student cleared the CA Foundation Exam.

5) ISO 2018:21001 Certification Details: VISAT Engineering College has successfully obtained the esteemed ISO 2018:21001 certification for its exemplary implementation of an Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS). This internationally recognized certification focuses on the requirements for educational institutions, emphasizing the provision of high-quality educational services that cater to the needs and expectations of learners. By receiving the ISO 2018:21001 certification, VISAT Engineering College demonstrates its commitment to providing a holistic and student-centric learning experience.

6) MOU with the prestigious HUAWEI ICT Academy – Global Certification Program

One of the recent feathers added to the crown of VISAT is the MOU with the prestigious HUAWEI ICT Academy, enabling us to provide a Global Certification Program. VISAT has become the 26th institution recognized by this international giant in India. The student gets an internationally recognized certificate which makes him/ her globally competent. Lt. Dr. Subash deserves special mention for this achievement.

7) Second-year ECE students Sreehari K and Karthik K P won first prize for the project entitled “IoT Based Solar Self Charging E-Rikshaw for differently-abled persons” in the National Level Technical Symposium, ZENIST, held at Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai, Tamilnadu on 19th October 2023

8) VISAT Engineering College – Recipient of Edu Excellence Award 2022.

VISAT has proved its mettle by receiving the most prestigious Edu Excellence Award 2022 from the honourable Minister for Higher Education Kerala Prof. Dr R. Bindu. The International Group Brand Stories, which has introduced this award, believes in healthy competition among the pioneers of educational innovations. They have followed stringent criteria in the selection procedure and selected VISAT from a short list of 25 outstanding colleges. VISAT Chairman Sri. Raju Kurian (chairman, the UNISIS group of companies) received this covetable award on 26th April 2022.

9) Principal Prof. Dr. Anoop K J has been elected to the grade of IEEE Senior Member.

10) Dean R & D Lt. Dr. T D Subash has been Elected to IEEE Photonics Society’s Board of Governors (2024 – 2026). And he became the First Indian to Join the Board.

11) VISAT Engineering College – Recipient of SEEM National Energy Management Awards 2021.

12) VISAT Engineering College was awarded the Sir CV Raman Excellence award by Overseas Resident Malayalees Association (ORMA)

Acknowledging the extraordinary efforts towards engineering education, VISAT Engineering College was awarded the Sir CV Raman Excellence award by the Overseas Resident Malayalees Association (ORMA) International Philadelphia, USA,. The award was handed over to the College by the Honourable Minister for Water Resources, Govt of Kerala, Sri. Roshy Augustine in the presence of Sri. George Nadavayal, President ORMA International, Prof Dr. George Abraham ORMA international director board member, Elanji Grama Panchayath Vice-President M P Joseph and Ex. Elanji Grama Panchayath Vice-President Tomy K Thomas.
