Eco Friendly Campus
VISAT focuses very empathetically on sustainable activities that protect our natural environment, and the conservative use of resources has always been a priority. As such, every initiative and activity undertaken by the institution is eco-friendly in nature. We believe in introducing our students to the various benefits of being one with the environment. For this reason, the design and architecture of our buildings ensure that there are maximum amounts of sunlight on every floor of every building.
In an effort to promote the health of our students, we ensure that they are provided with high-volume natural air circulation and that every floor is enriched with sufficient greenery as well. We have a network of rainwater harvesting systems in place that ensure continuous recharge of the groundwater table. The highly functional sewage treatment plant recycles the filtered water for horticultural purposes to nourish the green lawns, hedges, and plantations in the college. Waste distribution and segregation are taken seriously, and we facilitate proper recycling through organized disposal.
Computer Centre
VISAT has a fully equipped computer center with the latest computers, LCD monitors, high-speed networking equipment, with uninterrupted power supply. It has all the requisite hardware and software so as to impart knowledge in the most hi-tech environment. The entire campus is equipped with Wi-Fi and internet facility with 34 Mbps bandwidth for useful academic interactions.
Connectivity
The entire campus is equipped with Wi-Fi and a stable Internet speed of 34 Mbps (optical fiber network), and we constantly ensure that our students are provided with uninterrupted Internet connectivity such that none of their academic goals remain stagnant on account of not being connected to the rest of the fast-paced world. The Internet facility is available to all of the students and staff, both within the college campus and in the hostels.
Workshops
Various focused workshops are conducted very often by different departments and associations, and our students are encouraged to attend the different workshops being conducted by different organizations and institutions so as to improve their academic knowledge and build a strong skillset.
Laboratories
Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the laboratories also have experienced and expert lab assistants devoted to helping students procure practical knowledge. Dedicated to building the curiosity and intrigue of the students along with their subject knowledge, these laboratories help the students gain hands-on training on the different tools and machines that they will come across during their professional career.
Seminar Hall
Expensive seminar halls that are fully equipped are present in order to enable students to enrich their learning experience through exercises like brainstorming sessions, group discussions, role-plays, and seminars.
Cafeteria
Nourishing the body is just as important as nourishing the brain, and thereby, our cafeteria is dedicated to providing our students with clean and healthy food at affordable prices in a relaxing environment where they can unwind and socialize during their break hours. The cafeteria is open to students, staff, and other visitors to the campus. We have a carefully curated menu, keeping in mind the health and fitness of the students and staff.
Accommodation
Our homes away from home are as good as they can be. Each hostel is in peaceful, clean, and aesthetic surroundings. Respecting differences among Visatians at the hostel builds up a healthy union of minds and hearts. Feel proud to be part of this miniature world. VISAT provides well-furnished hostel accommodation to its students.
Transportation
We offer college bus services in the following routes: Ernakulam via Mulanthuruthy, Piravom, Cherthala via Vaikom, Thalayolaparambu, Thiruvalla via Kottayam, Ettumanoor, and Thodupuzha via Moovattupuzha.
