Through these prestigious affiliations, VISAT ensures that
every course offered meets national benchmarks for curriculum

VISAT is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), a leading state-owned public university headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram. With over 150 affiliated colleges and 160,000+ students, KTU oversees engineering and technology education across Kerala, offering UG and PG programs including B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and more.
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), a national-level statutory body under the Department of Higher Education, approves VISAT’s technical programs. Established in 1945 and given statutory authority in 1987, AICTE ensures coordinated development and quality standards in technical education across India.
APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, to which VISAT is affiliated, is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). This ensures national-level acceptance of degrees offered under the university’s curriculum.
VISAT provides a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs designed under the guidelines of KTU and approved by AICTE. These include B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, B.Arch, and emerging fields with honors and minor programs.
