Students are trained in building design, construction technologies, highway engineering, structural analysis, soil mechanics, water supply systems, and sustainable urban planning— aligned with the needs of modern civil engineering industries.
Civil Engineering labs include Structural Engineering Lab, Geotechnical Engineering Lab, Transportation Engineering Lab, Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics Lab, Survey Lab, Concrete Technology Lab, and Environmental Engineering Lab—providing strong practical training.
Field visits, construction site tours, technical workshops, project-based learning, surveying camps, and expert talks help students gain real-world engineering exposure.
Collaborations with construction firms, infrastructure developers, surveying companies, material testing labs, and environmental consultancies provide internship pathways and hands-on industrial training.

The Civil Engineering Workshop offers practical exposure to basic construction activities like brickwork, bar bending, plumbing, carpentry, and model making. Students learn essential field skills that support real-world project understanding.
The Surveying Lab trains students in land measurement and mapping using levels, theodolites, total stations, and GPS equipment. It equips learners with essential skills for planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.
The Geotechnical Lab focuses on soil characterization including compaction, permeability, shear strength, and consolidation. These tests support safe foundation design and geotechnical analysis for various structures.
The Concrete Technology Lab teaches testing of cement, aggregates, and concrete mixes. Students perform slump tests, mix design, compression testing, and durability checks to ensure structural quality and reliability.
